This thing has a nostalgic flair that drag racing has largely lost. There was a lot of fun, campy stuff that happened back in the day and this is another reason why the King Ford Eliminator rules. You have the eliminator class winners of all the other classes thrown in and the winner receives a crown, a cape, a scepter, and a champagne bath. They then climb on a chair and get carried to the winner’s circle to get their $1,000 check from Trick Flow. How cool is that?!

The epic battle for bracket racing champions returns to Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH at NMRA event on June 11-14
The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals is pleased to announce that Trick Flow Specialties has stepped up to sponsor King Ford, one of the most popular Ford drag racing competitions of all time! Taking place at the 12th Annual McLeod Racing NMRA Ford Super Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, the weekend of June 11-14, 2015, King Ford is a full-scale battle royale between the bracket race champions revealed during the event… each in search of the coveted King Ford title!
Watch as the class winners of Fast Ford, Quick Ford, Street Ford and Nostalgia Ford face off on Sunday afternoon for the right to be crowned King Ford! After the winner is proclaimed King Ford, he/she will be adorned with a crown, cape and scepter, drenched in champagne, then carried to the winner’s circle by servants where they will be presented with a $1,000 Trick Flow Specialties product certificate. The King will also receive a personalized, reserved parking spot for the following season in a high visibility location along with a special feature in Race Pages, the official publication of the NMRA series.
