“Sleeper” is an overused term in my opinion. People will go well out of their way to justify how a particular car is a sleeper, and most fail the sniff test…tires, exhaust note, even the age of the car itself can be used to call out a half-hearted attempt. But a real sucker-maker is supposed to lure you into a false sense of security. You walk into the fight expecting one outcome, and not the other. No Fairmont with a V8 rumble at test-and-tune night qualifies as a sleeper. This Gremlin does.

It looks like an exhaust, but the Gremlin appears to be front engined. Is it a rear mounted turbo or is there even an other motor slung in the back? I’d like more details of this little odd ball ….
