Two Wheel Titan – Watch This Wild Drag Racing Save From Bradenton Motorsports Park

Looking ahead to the start of next year’s drag racing season, one of the first big events of the tour will be the 2018 US Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida. We’ll be bringing you coverage from that event which many people look at as the official kick off of 2018. Part test, part heads up battle, it’ll be pro mods, radial cars, heavy street, index racing, and lots more. It’ll also be craziness like this video that was taken several years ago back when Floridian Frank Mewshaw was running in the Outlaw 10.5 category. In it, you’ll see him make one of the more astounding drag racing saves you’ll ever lay eyes on.

When people say, “the cars was on two wheels!” it is usually a situation where one side of the thing is about an inch off the ground. That’s certainly intense but when you see that Mewshaw was nearly dragging the door handle of his Firebird on the ground you’ll rethink what crazy is.

This was an eighth mile race so not only did Frank pull off this craziness and save his car, he won the round as well. There’s impressive and then there’s boss level. This is both!

Press play below to see Frank Mewshaw make an incredible save at Bradenton!

WOW!!! Usually when I see a video like that, it’s a case of, “Well, he had no chance of winning, but it’s impressive that he didn’t wreck.”
