It has been too long since we subjected your eyes and ears to some true small block, stick shift, wheelstand violence here at BangShift. This video features one of the racers that belong to and compete with the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters. Those guys are a group of hardcore drag racers that only believe in rowing their own gears, which make them 100% BS approved instantly. We don’t have the name of this driver featured in the video, but we do know that his car runs a Chevy mouse engine that comes in at about 355ci and that engine is backed by a Jerico four speed transmission.
This guy does not spare the rod on the Nova at all, which makes for great video. He winds this thing up to 9-grand on the starting line, steps off the clutch and then stands it up in the first two gears. He never once lifts his foot, continues to rip the level down the course, and finishes the lap under full throttle with the car pulling as hard as it can. What did it run? We have no clue as we were never informed but the car definitely has some stones because it was hustling down the track! The sounds that this little engine make are fantastic. We can almost hear the rod bolts stretching from the insane stress being placed upon them!
