X275 Craziness At Epping! Watch This Run With A Massive Wheelie And Some Carnage

This small tire drag racing thing can’t last, right? I mean, it can’t be popular anymore, right? WRONG! Small tire drag racing is as busy, popular, and fun as it has ever been. Why? Videos like tis one from the Mikel Visual YouTube page capture the reason perfectly. This is the most unpredictable style of drag racing on planet Earth.

What you are going to see is Dan Christopher in his awesome Mustang taking on Jack Dykeman driving the great ProCharger equipped Blue Goose Camaro. That’s the basic explanation. What you are really going to see are two elements that keep people tuning into videos and following x275. Christopher completely sky boxing his Mustang into a massive wheelie that he drives hundreds of feet down the track while Dykeman’s car breaks traction and shoots across the track like it has a concrete magnet in the nose.

Yes, there’s a little damage to the ‘Goose but it’ll be fixed and better than ever. We’re hoping to see the car at No Mercy in a couple of weeks at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

This is one of those runs that people talk about for a long, long time. Why? It has elements of everything. An idea of just how radical and potentially dangerous the cars are, a wheelie that is the result of the fact that the class does not allow wheelie bars, and a couple of cars making way more horsepower than those little tires can hang onto.

The NE X275 group has been growing and putting on great shows all weekend. They ran at the NHRA national event earlier in the year and put on a fantastic show. Once people see this stuff in person, they cannot get enough.
