This 15-Year-Old Modifieds Driver Throw Down A Victory Smoke Show To Top Them All!

If you race, you can remember your first win. There’s no question…you remember the year, the location, the ride, all of it. Getting your first “W” is right up there with your first legal drink, your first night out alone on your new license…you get the idea. It’s a worthy celebration, one that you should live up while you can…that moment doesn’t last forever. For 15-year-old Dillon Steuer, his race at Riverhead Raceway in Long Island was his moment. Running a 300-lap NASCAR Whelen Modified race, wrangling a 600 horsepower modified around like he owned the joint, and taking the checkers at the end of the night is already a great start to the evening…but Steuer’s celebration was perfectly over-the-top. Once he realized that he had won, he celebrated, all right…according to videographer Peter Milano, who sent us the footage, “let’s just say he laid down some rubber and then laid down some rim before entering Victory Lane.”

Steuer has had a fairly storied career in races up and down the Eastern U.S. so far, and we hope to see more out of him as time moves on. He’s got the right idea about how to celebrate, that’s for sure…give it hell, man!
