Not all SEMA cars are created equal, right? We have all heard the stories of the stuff held together by the hopes and dreams of the builder and little else. In fact, we got robbed of seeing the weirdo hackery that sometimes afflicts these builds as there was no in-person show for 2020. Now, there are loads of amazing SEMA cars that represent the great industry that is on display at the event.
This is one of them that we remember. Built for the 2017 show to highlight the products of JRi Shocks, this Nova is a turn key bad ass with Detroit Speed suspension front and pack, JRI components including their hydraulic ride height system and more. Just killer stuff like Forgeline wheels, an LS engine with the sweet double barrel intake manifold packing a pair of 102mm throttle bodies and more.
They did not spare much expense on this thing. We’re a little surprised to see an automatic transmission in here but it’s an RPM built Stage VII 4L60 so you know the thing is bombproof. Air conditioning, cool seats, a roll bar to stiffen things up, etc. We’re SURE you cannot build this car for the money they are asking. Just in finding a decent Nova and getting the body done you’d be halfway there. No disrespect to JRi but we may tweak the exterior design a little to make it a little more to our personal taste and other than that? Go, baby, go!
Sucking hot air off the radiator. No bueno.
