(Photos by Joe Grippo) – A short while back, Joe Grippo hit one of the great legacy automotive gatherings left in the country, the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) fall meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This event brings together cars and parts the likes of which few other shows in the country can rival. Machines from the brass era, muscle cars, trucks, and even some of what we would consider old “exotics”. This is not a flash and dash show like some others are. It is not promoted as being the second coming of the automotive world but for those that know, they’ll travel across the country to attend. It’s that good.
The swap meet at this thing is legendary as well. Just looking at the rare, old, crusty, and interesting parts and pieces that show up is worth the trip. If you have never been to this deal, you owe it to yourself to plan for 2020. Seriously it’s something that you can see in photos but to actually go to it is an entirely different experience.
