(Photos by Cole Reynolds) When we got invited to race in Optima’s Ultimate Street Car Invitational, we jumped at the chance to see if Daphne’s Ethyl station wagon could kick some ass on the autocross, road course, and speed stop. We were not alone, as nearly 90 cars were invited and racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and trying to do the same thing. We have lots of photos from the event, and this first gallery shows the cruise from the SEMA Show on Friday afternoon, autocross action on Saturday morning, and the Road Rally to Shelby American.
