They are not only found on OEM applications, but also high end road race and autocross machines, as well as some of the quickest and fastest drag racing door cars on the planet. There are some really interesting things that go on with a torque arm equipped suspension system, and I can tell you that those things not only involve incredible traction during acceleration, but when properly configured they also create a “Hand of God” feeling under braking. Yeah, like the big guy is grabbing hold of the car at the back of the transmission and stopping it by divine intervention. It’s awesome.
