If you haven’t ever wanted a sliding rag top in a vehicle then you are a weirdo. I’ve never been a sunroof guy, but a sliding rag is pretty damn cool. I think a VW bug or bus with a sliding rag is arguably one of the coolest OG setups ever. So when Dave announced that he was putting a sliding ragtop in the Mustang II project I was thrilled. He’s also shaving the gas door and doing some other little tweaks on this weird little ride. I can’t believe I like it so much, but it is probably because it’s bagged and that makes everything better, plus Dave is a hell of a guy so we dig most everything he does. I have been wanting a sliding ragtop since I was a teenager. But first I have to tackle some body work, welding, filler, and primer on the Mustang 2 . This project snowballed a little bit, but came around in the end. What a transformation this little junkyard car has made.
