It’s not a question many people ask, but the truth is that every hot rod owner seems to have an opinion and feels the need to share it whether they were asked or not. I laugh all the time at the hot rodders who judge others for not driving their cars, and then those who judge others for driving them too much. I personally think you should drive your hot rods as much as you can, but if you don’t that’s up to you. I only say you should because I know that when I drive a hot rod I am always happier. So why not try to be happy all the time?

With that said, I also can’t fault anyone who’s got cool cars that are just there to look at. Would I rather drive them? Sure, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t cool or that someone should feel bad about having a cool collection they enjoy. And who’s to say that driving your hot rod on Power Tour, vs just around town, makes you cooler.
