The Porsche 911, and it’s variants, are some of the most icon driver’s cars in the world. I’m not a “Porsche Guy”, but I love the 911. I’d drive an LS swapped 944 or 928, but I could see myself leaving a 911 Air Cooled and awesome. My favorite is the 930 Slant Nosed car, but this Gunther Werks 400R is right there with it. In this video from Auto Revolution you’ll see some of the details and features and specialties that went into the creation of the 400R. To many it is the ultimate Air Cooled Porsche. For Gunther Werks it was important to create something that looked like the Porsche factory design team would have come up with it. They were focused on making an analog car that works in the digital age. They wanted to make everything that is great about a 911 into something that is spectacular. I believe they’ve done it.
