This IMSA Outfitted 1970 Boss 302 Mustang Is Tearing It Up, And Catching Factory Porsches At Monterey

As muscle car enthusiasts we are all familiar with Trans Am racing cars of the 1960’s and 1970’s, where for the most part the bodies were stock or close. But there was lots of other racing going on back then, and throughout the later 1970’s as well. During this time some of those early race cars were converted into crazier looking race cars like this 1970 Boss 302. This one has been outfitted for IMSA racing and that means a huge wide body and massive tires. It is as race car as it gets, and in this video from the Monterey historic races it is chasing down, and eating up, a pair of Porsche Factory race cars. This is the kind of racing action you want to see from these old cars, and it does not disappoint.
