I often times find myself looking at the factory wheel arches and fender flares that you see while driving down the freeway, thinking about how those would look on a pro touring machine that needs some flares. I do this because I think that for every car that looks great with flares there are 5 that look anywhere from okay to absolutely horrible. But I think that you could take some factory wheel openings that have the right shape, and with a little bit of massaging, make them into something that would look very custom and cool. In this video here you are going to see a set of flares getting installed on a vintage 911 Porsche and it looks awesome. But the methods used could work for nearly any car if you find the right donor flares or aftermarket pieces.
Watch, be inspired, and I’m sorry for making you now look at factory flares on new cars in a whole new way.
