Hands On Cars With Kevin Tetz: How To Choose A Project Car, And Then Thrash It Before Teardown!

Hands On Cars With Kevin Tetz: How To Choose A Project Car, And Then Thrash It Before Teardown!

Kevin Tetz and I met a few years ago, at the Goodguys Show in Nashville, when he was testing a certain television show project truck on the autocross. We’ve seen each other on the road and at events ever since, and with increasing frequency lately. Since Kevin is one hell of a body man, and not afraid to wrench on anything, I find myself watching anything that he’s involved in because I know I’m going to learn something, and have a good time doing it. Kevin has a huge amount of knowledge in the paint and body world, but that doesn’t mean he can’t build a car from the ground up and this is an opportunity to see him do just that. This is Eastwood’s Hands-On Cars. The series has been around for a while now, and we’ve seen Kevin’s project in person tearing it up, but we figured you guys might like to take a look at the entire process.

This is Episode 1, and goes into the details on how to find and choose a project car, which ones to stay away from, and then how to have some fun with it before you tear it all apart. Burnouts people, burnouts.

We’ll have all the episodes here for you to watch, and are also going to be working on some other stuff with Kevin this year so stay tuned!
