Rust repair is one of the things that can be really intimidating when it comes to your hot rod, muscle car, or truck project, but they don’t need to be. I think one of the reasons some people are intimidated, is because we’ve all heard the horror stories of rust repair done wrong. And I’m not just talking about not doing a repair very well, but rather those repairs that are done just to hide damage. We’ve all seen the videos and photos online of people packing rust holes with steel wool, spray foam, wire, and more and then following it up with massive amounts of body filler. You don’t need to do that. Not at all.
