The 48-Hour Camaro Build Continues! Check Out The Progress We Made Yesterday

The 48-Hour 2nd Gen Camaro is coming along nicely! We’re having a lot of fun, while working hard, to put together one hell of a cool 1971 Camaro that Bret Voelkel from Ridetech is going to wheel across the country all year on the road, on the autocross, and on the road course. It is one of two 2nd Gen Camaros that are going to be campaigned out of the Ridetech stables and features their new Unicradle Bolt in 4-Link rear suspension along with their True Turn front suspension. We got the entire rear suspension in the car yesterday, most of the Vintage Air system installed, and even more of the Painless wiring done. Along the way the FiTech fuel system components have been mapped out and the Holley Dominator ECU has been mounted and wired. A lot happened and a lot more is happening today for sure.

When they did the 48 Camaro and Corvette from the Ridetech shop and continuously streamed it I found it fascinating and enjoyed watching the bulk of it. No small credit goes to Chad who kept it lively and interesting for the entirety of the stream. This current format with snippets and updates now and again make it tough to maintain any interest. So building another Camaro in 48 hours of work is still an achievement but it’s just not all that interesting now.
