Steve Abbott clearly knows how to wheel his 2004 Z06 Corvette, and it showed at Optima’s final regular season event in Fontana this weekend. Steve made the single quickest autocross lap on the property, regardless of class, and this video right here shows him doing it! 44.973 seconds is how quick he got around the course, and the way he looks around the course is awesome. Just take a look at the screen shot above. He is actually looking straight out the side window on the passenger side at least two corners ahead of where he is at that moment. It’s awesome, and shows you how you need to be in the car if you want to be fast.
