This Total Control kit that Bill from CJ Pony Parts is installing fits 1967 to 1970 Mustangs. And if you are going to use the rear end housing that is already in your car, it will require some welding. If your car is currently 8 inch equipped and you want to run a 9 inch in it, you can just order your new rearend from Total Control and they’ll send it all set and ready to install. No welding needed. There is a lot going on with this installation, but if you watch the video, you’ll realize that it’s all pretty straight forward and you can do it in your driveway or garage at home on a Saturday.
