Best of BS 2016 – Jamie Whincup Takes His Australian V8 Supercar And Enters An Aussie Burnout Contest

Any hot rodder worth his salt knows how to do a burnout. Your first one is a right of passage. It’s like losing your virginity. But doing burnouts at the level that the Aussies have taken it to is a whole other deal. Sure it’s burnouts, donuts, etc, but it sure is fun to watch and produces a hell of a lot of tire smoke. This video by the Red Bull Racing guys takes it to another level yet. They decided that V8 Supercar racer Jamie Whincup was going to take his race car and do the Burnout Contest at Summernats 2016 a couple weeks ago. But instead of just burning down one set of tires, he actually does a pit stop in the middle of the skid pad! Watch, it’s awesome.

Can anyone tell me where or how the guys have the colored smoke. Roadkill guys did it recently and the aussies do it. Kumho used to produce the tires that make the colored smoke. Who now?

    help!!

Have you seen the exhaust additive they sell on Ebay that makes your emissions scented? I’m no expert, but that’s gotta be the world’s worst idea. Here, smell my tailpipe. Suck in all that carbon monoxide while trying to get a whiff of bananas.

Achilles make some, ‘ATR ColourSmoke’ I think there called, like the Kumho ones, only do one thing well……. make colored smoke, don’t expect them to grip in any way or be inexpensive…….and the dye in the tire will stain almost everything it comes into contact with.
