Big Trucks, Hot Hatches, And One Last Pro Touring Blast From The Hotchkis Autocross At NMCA West Fontana

Big Trucks, Hot Hatches, And One Last Pro Touring Blast From The Hotchkis Autocross At NMCA West Fontana

Here’s our last salvo of photos from the Hotchkis Autocross that was held at the NMCA West event last weekend in Fontana, California. In it you will see a kind of automotive schizophrenia that we love. From a Ford Focus ST lifting the inside rear tire on right bends to a big 1967-72 Chevy longbed truck working its truck-arm rear suspension as hard as it can in the corners, a ZL1 Camaro, lots of pro touring old school muscle, and plenty of smiling faces, this is fun stuff.

One of the hardest things for anyone to breach in order to let yourselves get out on the course and have a good time whether it is drag racing or autocross or whatever your idea of fun, is the mental anguish lots of people put them through about doing stuff in front of a crowd or in public. Once you can get over that, there’s a big wide world of fun waiting for you. Events like this Hotchkis autocross are great because often they will have experienced racers at the ready to ride shotgun with you and provide valuable instruction in order to get you around the course faster and improve your skills. Everyone at these events is there to have fun and the best way to do it is IN your car!

See the blast that these people are having? Make sure you are involved next time (especially if you have a big assed truck!)
