Yes, we know…LS swaps have been done half to death and then some. Whatever. The end goal is not to appease the masses. The end goal is to haul ass, provide horsepower and torque without going full-on heavyweight mode. That is why GM’s modern V8 engine has been adapted into pretty much any and every platform you can possibly think of. It’s why there are not one, but two major shows that see an eye-goggling amount of fans and racers and gearheads meeting up at the same…and that’s just in the United States. The world over has adopted the LS powertrain…name it, you’ll find it, from work trucks to psychotic dune climbers.
The Mighty Car Mods duo recently were contacted by Activision, a video game group that are the ones behind the Call of Duty series. We aren’t completely sure what the connection is between this urban-stealth BMW E30, but hey…any excuse to build a wicked little machine is a good one. The E30 platform is one of BMW’s home runs, and with LS power taking the place of a wasted inline-six, it’s a wicked little mother. We can’t say we are completely excited about the ASCII keyboard ECU interface or the gimmicks, but the car as a whole is a win.

If there’s one Activision game this should go with, it’s the Interstate 76… perhaps if they’re making a more modern sequel?
