(Photos by Mike and Jon Brooks) –  Back when the first Power Tour happened in the 1990s, no one could have possibly understood the impact that the event would eventually have on modern hot rodding. While some like to throw shade at the event, thousands upon thousands of men, women, families, and friends load up every year and partake in this incredible event. It is the living and breathing personification of the hot rodding hobby, brining people form all locations and walks of life together over a common interest. All the political BS that people spout on social media, all the differences that people like to point out between each other, all of that junk goes away. Why? Because all of these people have a common thread, cars.
