Yeah, we know that April Fools’ Day was yesterday…we saw all of the posts, from Chad’s beard packing up, giving us the finger and bailing out on it’s own in the movie biz to Lunati’s new adjustable rod length pushrods. All good, and hey, if Comp Cams sold even one of their “Add-A-Lobe” do it yourself camshaft kits, then all the better, right? UK car blog CarThrottle even got into they act…they got Nissan to hook them up with a Nissan NV3500 van, which was fitted with a hydraulic handbrake and had it’s rear diff welded. Then, with the assistance of Donut Media, they roped in drifter Chris Forsberg and told him that he was going to be shooting a promo and drift montage using a Nissan 370Z. As Forsberg was preparing to get started in the video, two tons of fun comes sliding into view in front of him. That reaction is legitimate…he had no idea why a Nissan van was interrupting the shoot. And then they cut him loose with the hoon-mobile. Nissan’s contributions: the Z, the van and the “lawyer’s warnings” at the bottom of the screen, which are some of the best we’ve seen in a while. Everything else? Pure excess…gloriously pure excess.
Drive it like it’s a rental!!!
I wonder which crate LS engine they put in that thing to make it haul ass…
