Now this is pretty cool. We’ve showed you some of these Hagerty/Chip Foose videos before and they’ve been entertaining but this one (for us, anyway) goes to the next level as we get to see Foose conceive and render a high performance version of the new Ford Maverick truck.I got some time around the new Maverick a couple of weeks ago and it’s pretty cool. The truck is really small but the cab has good people space and for the vast majority of truck owners who actually do little truck work, this thing will hit the spot.
Many people have been wondering if rigs like the Maverick will help to bring mini-truckin’ back like it was in the day. That’s a question that will require more time to answer but if they build trucks in the manner you see Foose do here, we bet it will coming back with a vengeance.
Using some Shelby inspiration here for coloration and other cues, this rig is pretty mean looking. The fog lights, the lowered stance, the wheels and flares, all of this pickip is approved by us. What do you say? Would you drive it?
