It takes solid stones to take on an icon like a 1960s Dodge Charger and go your own way with it. This is a car that Hollywood movie makers fantasize about when they lay their heads down to sleep at night, a car that enthusiast, gearhead, resto-freak and even the random off of the street look at and foam at the mouth for. Yet Alexandre Claudin has done just that with this 1968 Dodge Charger…the engine is BMW (a 4.9L S62 V8 from a BMW M5), the rear suspension kit is all Porsche (Cayenne Turbo) and the wing…eh, that’s just there because why not. No, there’s no Hemi, not even a 440, but damn if this Charger doesn’t scream bloody murder and run like every 1968-70 Charger should. Tires boiling, engine howling for mercy, “cry havok” kinds of hooning…we like that.
Claudin has put together a drifting show-off video that brings out BMX trick riders, parkour stuntmen, a fire-eater and a guy on a drift trike in an old factory setting. There could be more angry Charger for our personal tastes, but we can appreciate plenty going on in the video. And we can even appreciate the car he trades the Charger out for when his honey calls him home for supper. I promise, you’ll dig that one too!

The fire-eater looks just like my son-in-law!
Shit that it cool as hell, im going out now to trash on my chevelle until it blows up and i will smile all tha Way.
