Sometimes cars just speak to us, and it isn’t always the body style or the model in particular. This 1965 Mustang Fastback is one of those machines. I’ll be honest, these 1st Gen Mustangs are some of my least favorite normally. I mean they are cool, but I just don’t get as excited about them as I do the 1967 – 1968 models. With that said, there is something about this ’65 model that speaks to me. It’s got attitude without losing it’s identity, which is something that isn’t always the easiest to pull off. After all, there are tons of machines out there that go so far as to make you wonder what the hell the builder was thinking. That’s not the case on this bad boy.
With aggressive but tasteful flares over the wide tires, this fastback Mustang really makes a statement. And I love the satin blue paint! You won’t see one just like it anywhere, and because this one is a real driver you’ll want to take it everywhere.
