Fox vs Trans-Maro Spectator Drags Mayhem: Getting Crazy And Bent Up At Beech Ridge Speedway

We have highlighted awesome spectator drags action from Beech Ridge Speedway in Maine for a few years now. The Carbon Videos channel is on top of all the action at that place and there are usually some gems as the season goes on. This is one of those videos that rules on a couple of levels. For starters we have a Fox bodied Mustang taking on its natural rival, the 3rd Gen F-Body from GM. This particulate 3rd Gen is even more mullety than normal because it is a Camaro with a Firebird nose. Delicious.

Both of these cars have been modified to do what they are going to do here. They have more horsepower and handling capability than either Ford or GM blessed them with from the factory and they have drivers who clearly do not want to give an inch to each other for personal or brand based pride. This is one of the fastest and hardest core spectator drags matches we have seen in a long time and frankly it is one of the most exciting to watch, especially turn four.

When guts outweigh available grip some wild stuff happens and thankful no one was hurt here and that’s largely because of the tasty tire wall that one of these guys gets into with alacrity. Buckle up, kids this is a wild one!
