(Photos by Bob Chiluk) – We’re back with one last wagon attack from the 20th Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. While the center of the country had been dealing with blazing heat for lots of the summer so far, people attending the 20th Goodguys PPG Nationals were given some beautiful weather to cruise, autocross, walk, and drink in the scenery with over the course of the show weekend. We’re not sure how many of these classic wagons had AC but we’re guessing a couple do so they were equipped for whatever ma nature threw at them.
You’ll see Suburbans in here and some may not consider them wagons. We think that’s wrong. These things were the definition of a handy wagon back in the day before they become suburban assault vehicles and grew to weigh like eleventeen tons. As you saw yesterday there are stock looking wagons, lowered wagons hot rods and more on display here. It’s a fine day for inspecting long roofs…see ’em all below!
