If you haven’t heard of Rays wheels, then you probably haven’t ever been into anything imported. I say this not as a dig, but just a simple fact, as Rays wheels are an OG Japanese brand that has been known for quality and performance for decades. In fact, Rays Engineering, the company that builds these wheels, along with several other brands of Forged Wheels, has been in business since 1973. That’s 50 years of forging technology and it is pretty cool. If you are like me, you love watching How It’s Made type of videos so you’ll dig this one too.
If you have never seen how a forged wheel is made, this is a good one to watch as well, so you can see why they are usually so much more expensive than a cast wheel. These suckers take more equipment and more time to make!
