Now THIS is great. Jim Pace has always been our adopted road racing bad ass here at BangShift and some of the neatest road racing in-car videos on the internet star him and some truly rare iron. From Can-Am cars to full bodied machines, to vintage rockets like this 1963 Jaguar XKE, he can drive it all and drive it all well. If you have ever wondered just how fast and loose one of these old road racing cars is, buckle up because you are in for a treat. Between the cars seemingly twitchy nature, its lack of traction at times, some good old slideways fun, and a shifter that we want to own, everything about this video is great.
Jim seem to be motioning to someone through this run. Sometimes he is pointing straight ahead and sometimes he is pointing at the gauge faces in the dash. We’re not sure if there was going be some running commentary on this one or what but we love it all the same with the sounds of the inline six engine just assaulting the ear drums of anyone close by. There’s nothing like the sound of that iconic, engine. Dat’s for sure!
