There’s just something we love about a dually sliding sideways with all four rear tires smoking. Maybe it is the size, maybe it is the absurdity of it all, maybe it’s just the fact that you have to know how fun the whole program is. Either way, this video is not Gymkhana. This video is not some massive production deal and by Ken Block standards it is pretty low key but may that’s what makes this a fun watch.
We dig the blacked out looks of the truck. The black wheels, flat black wrap, and while it’s crummy that he broke the Escort Mk2 and it was left on the trailer, but if that thing hadn’t broke we’d not be seeing four tons of Henry Ford’s finest destroying tires and barking out graceful circles.
The newest Hoonigan drift machine will be an incredible Fox chassis Mustang. Well, it will have started as that. It’ll be a wild tube chassis, crazy looking, movie star of a car. All of that is well and good and it certainly shows off tech and crazy fabrication skills but there’s something about watching a pro driver drift a dually that strikes us as just a hair cooler.
