Morning Symphony: A Collection Of Wound-Up Hillclimb Cars!

Hillclimb prepared race cars are highly-strung beasts. Take the temperament of a rally car, with it’s turbocharged, high-revving mill and gunfire-like anti-lag, hook it up to deep gears and as much rubber as you deem necessary, and hang the hell on. Tight, curving courses are no match for the automotive equivalent of a tasmanian devil. It’s all noise, all grip, and all speed from the moment the clutch is dropped until the finish line. Like rally racing, it’s difficult to actively watch a hillclimb, but hearing the noise as the cars make their charge up the course is something else entirely.

19Bozzy92 is always great for picking up the sound of the event, and with this collection of hillclimb cars from 2017, he does not disappoint. From a Ford RS200 built for Pikes Peak to the hellish V8 scream of a BMW, it’s here. It’s almost symphonic…right up until the anti-lag barks out another burp of flame.
