Morning Symphony: This Drifting BMW M3 Is A Concert Of Wailing Six Cylinder Power And Machine-Gun Anti-Lag!

There are only so many Nissan S-chassis cars out there for drifters to get their hands on. Sooner or later, other body styles had to be converted, and one of the more popular “other” cars in drifting are BMW 3-series. It isn’t difficult to see why: they’ve been the darlings of the automotive press for decades, with Autobahn-tuned handling, six cylinders that are some of the best in the business, and it doesn’t hurt that they were cranked out by the millions. Scoring a used Beemer isn’t an expensive affair, and a little computer tuning and one hell of a turbocharger go a long way from turning an E46 M3, a car that was plenty capable straight off of the showroom floor, into a monster. Ignore the shopping car wing and the numerous colors and just listen to the noise of Karlo Pavicic’s M3 hanging it out sideways at the King of Italy’s Drift Exhibition….ahh, sweet music…
