(Photos by Mark de Bruin) – Yesterday we showed you the first of two galleries of photos featuring images from the pits and on the track at the World Endurance Championship race that was recently held at the famed Spa-Francorchamps race track. Spa is an incredibly fast place and it takes some real guts to keep the pedal down through the long straights. Today we’re back with more images from the event and this time they come from the talented lens of Mark de Bruin. He shot the race along with Dennis Vos and between the two of them, they really crushed it.
Shooting a road race is kind like the equivalent of photographic marathon. To cover the ground that these guys did and get the images they did means that they were on the move almost constantly. These are huge, sprawling facilities and standing on one corner and taking photos is one way to do it but that’s the wrong way. Mark de Bruin brings us into the pits, to a ton of different corners, and through a lot of different lighting circumstances which means this was a dawn to dusk effort he put in.
Take a look at the photos of the event below and we think that you will love them as much as we do!
