BangShifter Troy Henderson sent us the link to what has to be the greatest rental car in the history of mankind and we needed to share it with you. Here’s the crazy part, it isn’t just this thing that’s so awesome and for rent, there are a load of cool cars out there you can plunk down for. Ever heard of Turo? It is kind of like Uber or Lyft in the sense that people are using their personal cars but instead of driving you around, you are literally renting people’s personal cars and avoiding all the BS that comes with the big chain companies. You’ll find stuff like Hellcats and SS Camaros on there, trucks, luxury vehicles, and yes, customized monsters like this turbocharged LS swapped Volvo station wagon.
We have actually seen this car at Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green at least once and while it ain’t much to look at, the thing hauls the mail and the turbocharged engine fits in the nose of the car like it was designed to be there. For $75 a day you can cruise this thing and live that LS swap life that you have always dreamed about. Pretty radical, right?
