(Photos by Cole Reynolds) Sunday at the USCA Optima Search for the Ultimate Street Car meant Speed Stop and Road Course action, and we got photos of all of it. Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, Vipers, Vegas, and much more can be seen hauling ass around the cool infield road course at Fontana’s California Speedway. We have a fair number of laps around the road course and can tell you that it has some fun spots and requires good technical skills to be fast but is fun for people of all skill levels. With the big power present in late model machines, and the insane power folks are putting into muscle cars of old, there were big speeds down the front straight. And where else are you going to see a K5 Blazer taking on a fullsize Ford along with Nova’s, Vipers, and more. It is a great mix and fun to watch for sure.
