Somebody Had A Momentary Lapse Of Judgement And Left Carlos Lago Alone With A LaFerrari

While most of us would rather be in David Freiburger or Mike Finnegan’s shoes, trading places with Carlos Lago wouldn’t be a bad deal either. Sure, you wouldn’t have nearly the amount of access to such lovely vehicles as the Rotsun, General Mayhem and the Crop Duster, but at the same token you get access to some of the latest vehicles on the planet, some of which can nearly warp your concept of “fast” permanently. Case in point: LaFerrari. This is Ferrari’s hybrid supercar, essentially a stripped down F12 Berlinetta with a KERS electric drive/regeneration system. The V12 alone pumps out about 790 horsepower, so it isn’t like the LaFerrari needs any help playing with such competition as the Porsche 918 and the McLaren P1. But Ferrari has been stringent on who can test, where they can test, and especially the refusal to do head-to-head testing with the other two cars.

Then they caved and called in Carlos. Anything you need to know about this car that isn’t answered in this video should be answered with the lead photo. We’re not sure this man knows what a bad day at work truly is. It’s not like he’s testing a Renault Alliance.

Hopefully he didn’t blow the motor up in this, like he did the HRM Gremlin. Something tells me this would be a little more expensive to fix
