Take A Look At This Rat-Rodded Drifter From Across The Pond: Ford Anglia Body, Saab Powerplant, And A “Build-Break-Repair” Driver!

Either you like rat rods or you don’t. You can nit-pick the definition of what is and isn’t a rat rod all day long, but for simplicity’s sake, let’s stick with a basic concept: a bunch of parts that separate, would be scrap fodder that together, make something that can potentially be awesome. Personally, I’m not that much of a fan, and that’s due to seeing some of the worst examples out there. I know there are rods that are well engineered, safe, and still have that badass look, but then there are the others. But in case you think that it’s just an American thing, we offer a car known as “Urchfab”: the body shell of a Ford Anglia, a turbocharged Saab engine, rear drive and built for drifting. It’s not a normal equation…far from it, in fact…but here it is, doing as the owner fully intended.
