When Suzy Bauter decided to drag this Nash American Wagon home, and then proceeded to plan out a Pro Touring style build for it, the only person that didn’t think she was crazy was her partner in crime Rodney. He’s game for just about anything, and the thought of all this cutting and thrashing just made him giggle. He’s a sick puppy, but we understand the sickness that leads to a project like this and we totally approve.
In this cool video from The Golden Drive you’ll get the story, take a ride, and get to see just how sexy this wide hipped wagon they call the Flare Witch Project really is.
This car came a long way in a short time and then was chosen my the folks at Hot Wheels to be one of the finalists in the Hot Wheels Legends Tour. And for good reason. It’s extreme in many ways, and has an exaggerated feel to it, but it never lost what it really is, a Nash American wagon. And even though the flares are huge, the wheels still have that classic 5 spoke Hot Wheels look that drives home the fact that this is an American Hot Rod in the truest sense of the word.
We’ll let the video and Suzy tell the story. Watch.
Once I got to the Chevy part, that was it for me.
I like this odd little wagon alot, once I got to the Chevy part it turned to LUST————LOL
Here’s somebody who had a crazy idea, got it built, and has used it and hung onto it like it’s part of their person. Very cool. Plus we always liked Suzy Bauter.
