This Craigslist Ad For A Lowly 1992 Acura Integra Is One The Best We’ve Seen In Ages

This Craigslist Ad For A Lowly 1992 Acura Integra Is One The Best We’ve Seen In Ages

So we continue with a day of duality. It was the Chevy and the Porsche and now it is the abandoned Pantera and this awesome Craigslist ad for a lowly 1992 Acura Integra that’s funny, over the top good, and entertaining to the last drop. How is it that the Pantera gets left for dead in a backyard and this 1992 Integra is cared for, loved, driven, laughed in, cried in, and adopted as a family’s own for its entire life? The math says that the disposable Acura should be the thing sitting there rotting, not having lived a live of attention and care!

This is one of those great ads that is not too far over the top, it not too in your face, and is clearly written by someone who is actually a little attached to the thing that they’re trying to rid themselves of! There’s nothing overtly special about this car, nothing “factory rare”, etc. This car lived the life you’d think they’d all want to have. Not hacked, not beaten, just driven around the world about 10 times.

Thanks to Travis Ameson for the tip!

This is one hunk of the ad, you need to whack the link  below to see it all –

What is even more fortunate is this particular example is 100% stock and only has been owned by my family since being bought certified used in 1994 from Lynnwood Honda. You heard me right: no Sportmax rims. No cut springs. No homemade short shifters. No Autozone cold air intakes. Hell, when the muffler started to rust out on this thing about 10 years ago my dad even had it replaced with an OEM part – this thing does not even know what a fart can is. It has never heard of Vin Diesel, and if you try to talk to it about Fast and The Furious it will think you are talking about an Obama-era gun trafficking scandal.

Some people dream of finding that little old grandma who has her son’s cherry 1968 Corvette sitting in the garage for sale, “Oh he died in the Vietnam war – and I just haven’t had the heart to sell it until now.” Well I am that grandma, and this Acura is that Corvette. I bought a new car in November and just haven’t been able to part with this family heirloom – but now is the time to say good bye.
