(By Tom Lohnes) – Do you want to be the proud owner of the new Toyota GR SuperSports hypercar? Well, for most people, the answer would be yes. Toyota is only selling to the most distinguished of hypercar enthusiasts, however, and they have a long questionnaire you need to fill out before they even consider selling to you.
The first step, is if you have an FIA racing license. This is a thing not many people have, so likely the first 100 or so out of 500 will be going to racing drivers. The next question asks if you own or have owned a Toyota 2000GT, Lexus LFA, or any Toyota vehicle that can be considered “high value”. Then, you have to state what performance vehicles you’ve owned, and which ones you plan to buy and park next to your GRSS. The rest of the questionnaire has not been leaked yet, but if you don’t have these 3 things before any other, chances are you’re not getting the car.
So, do you fit the requirements for a GRSS? Can you drive a road-legal Le Mans car? If the answer is no to both, you probably don’t have the $1,000,000+ to afford this crazy thing anyways. I can’t wait to see how this thing performs, and if it’s even let into America before it turns 25.
Yep, guessin’ one of these will just about shut down an Exotic car meet!
