Everyone and their mother has seen the incredible video of Ken Block wheeling a Subaru through a series of precision driving techniques and obstacles. That style of automotive competition is called a Gymkhana, and kids, it is important to know that Ken Block did not invent this form of automotive tomfoolery.

Gymkhana has been around for quite some time, like decades. It was a popular form of competition in the 1960s here in then states and has always had a following in Europe because all that is necessary is a parking lot. Gymkhana is like hybrid autocross and obstacle course that tests all of your car’s abilities and more importantly, all of your personal abilities behind the wheel.

In this video a dude in a Catheram 7 absolutely tears it up on a Gymkhana course. This man is totally and utterly skilled. Watching this video will make you seek out the nearest Gymkhana event you see scheduled.
