This footage comes from Slovakia and more specifically the Slovakia Ring race course where the Blanpain GT series was running. We have talked about the Blancpain series a few times this year because it is pretty radical. Sports cars from around the world from Bentleys to Camaros and Lambos compete against each other and they do it all over Europe at some of the best tracks known to man.

Things went from bad to complete catastrophe for the Lamborghini driver right off the bat because he dropped a couple wheels off on the grass. From that point he managed to rejoin the pack but the tightly grouped lump of cars started to bump and bash each other and that’s when things get ugly. The Lamborghini and a Mercedes slide off the course at high speed and into the grass. The Lamborghini gets the worst of it, backing into the wall at such an angle that the car is thrown up in the air and begins a pretty amazing series of flips and cartwheels before ultimately landing on top of the very wall that it struck.

The car did a heck of a job protecting the driver. We’re already on the lookout for in-car footage.
