Crazy Video: Here’s Why You Never Want To Crash A T-Bucket – These Guys Lived

Crazy Video: Here’s Why You Never Want To Crash A T-Bucket – These Guys Lived

This is the type of video that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up when you watch it and not for great reasons. Shot in South Africa about a year ago, things open up with an older guy sitting in his blown t-bucket and ripping the throttle. The amount of violence this guy perpetrates just sitting there and how hard he is revving the engine leads us to believe that he wasn’t the most experienced hot rodder in the mechanical sense. He either built the engine and knows how good it is or he hired it out and doesn’t care what that guy thinks.

After the rev session the video cuts to a black and white security film and for a couple of seconds you’ll believe, like we did, that this was all some kind of a put on. It isn’t. You next see the car skidding sideways through traffic and doing it at a high rate of speed. The car jumps the curb and smashed into some kind of pole which launches the occupants out and sends the car careening off camera. This is a literal nightmare come to life.

The most disturbing part of the whole program is that these guys get chucked out  of the car, basically bounce off the hood of a truck that was for sale on the lot of the dealer they crashed into, and then flop onto the ground. We do not see these men get up and “walk it off” but after looking into the wreck we determined that they had lived.

Moral of the story. C’amon man.

Press play to see some wild video from South Africa – both guys apparently made it

Jesus h Christ! that is some of the scariest footage I’ve ever seen…stupid old git should have known better. When he was revving the crap out of it my first thought was ` you, sir, don’t have an ounce of mechanical sympathy in you’

To much horsepower and not enough sense also no seat belts. The vehicle looks intact in slow motion and if they were belted in they would have stayed in the vehicle.

  3. Crazy

Ever see a wreck in a model t or A.? or a econo box after 8 years in the rustbelt? with holy rockers and paper thin floors.
    This isn’t even news.

It’s not news but its a scary video showing what can happen. Of course the brainless twits who need to see this are not paying attention

So, was this a stuck throttle or what ? Sad. Another black eye for hobby.

Makes me glad my T-BUCKET has a certified cage and I wear a helmet! Love ’em at the track but not for the street.

I just a betcha he was showing off to his passenger and the thing got out from under him. Much like Mustang owners leaving a car show.

I am not so sure they lived. The one guy\’s head bounced off the bumper and hood of that truck. I am willing to bet they are not alright. He just outdrove his ability.

It kind of looks like the left rear suspension may have failed first. I have tried to slow the pics down, but the hard turn to the left may have been a mechanical. Gonna investigate further.

Just need to follow to YouTube and read folks:
It seems that it was not deadly. September 2, 2017 VANDERBIJLPARK. – A man sustained critical injuries and another sustained moderate injuries when their vehicle crashed along Helena Lochner street in Vanderbijlpark this afternoon. At approximately 12pm, paramedics from ER24 and other services arrived on the scene where they found the vehicle on the pavement of a car dealership. Bystanders explained that the vehicle crashed into a vehicle in the dealership before it landed on the pavement. Both occupants were ejected from the open vehicle.
