It’s Ba-a-a-a-ack! The Hot Rodded Volvo Tractor Is Back, With A Video To Show Ken Block How It’s Really Done

It’s Ba-a-a-a-ack! The Hot Rodded Volvo Tractor Is Back, With A Video To Show Ken Block How It’s Really Done

When we first saw footage of this Volvo BM Terrier tractor ripping donuts in the countryside a couple of years ago, we went nuts. Just the fact that someone stuffed a built Volvo turbo motor that, by their own admission isn’t making near enough boost, into a tractor alone makes it worthy of this site. But then the dude starts whipping donuts and throwing up rooster tails in the fields and we were absolutely sold. Vianor, a tire distributor in the Nordic countries, has the Traktor Terror under it’s team umbrella now and the driver, Rickard Nilsson, has absolutely no issue whipping the tractor around. In fact he looks pretty damn calm about the whole situation.

Don’t be fooled though, because between tea time and a donut break, Nilsson throws the tractor around with skill. The Terrier is good for about 225 horsepower and can hit about 65 miles an hour. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but remember, this thing usually has a max speed of 25 miles per hour, and for a good reason. Donuts and roostertails are the usual fare, but he does these with such abandon that it’s probably a good thing the reinforced cage exists. Can “farmkhana” become a real thing? Because that alone would keep Brian busy for years.
