Last weekend the massive Pomona Swap Meet went down and we were there, right in the thick of it all. There was so much neat stuff that we’re going to bust it up into chunks for you to take in and enjoy. This first blast of photos features trucks, trucks, and only trucks from the event. Heck, this is the first of several truck galleries we will show you from the swap meet. For an east coast truck lover like me, the true joy and wonder I get from gawking at these photos is how clean even the “ugly” stuff is. Yeah, there will be faded paint and surface coloration but there’s no “rust” like the rest of the world knows it. From the slammed 1960s era stuff to customs, to big lifted Fords and Chevys, this gallery has a little something for anyone who enjoys the world of old school trucks.
I was struggling to pick a favorite in this gallery but then I got to the photo that I have featured below and completely fell in love. The F-650/750 crew cab with its flatbed and military looking tires is completely awesome and would look darned good sitting here at the Lohnes manse. Mrs. Lohnes has taken umbrage to this and shot my dreams straight out of the sky. Maybe she’s like the bitchin’ Ford with the tilt bed? Screw it, I am just going to snag it on the premise that she will. (Kidding honey….KIDDING!)
