I’ve seen three lowered square body Suburbans this week and all it makes me do is want one even more than I already do! WTF people! LOL But I have zero dollars and no room for something else right now, so I’m going to just have to keep encouraging my fellow BANGshifters to buy all the fun things I find online. This particular 1987 Suburban is a typical half-ton model that came with a 350 small-block but it also says it has a TH350 which I didn’t realize came in these.
According to some of the research I’ve done there may have been a lockup converter equipped 350C available in some of them, so who knows. Regardless of the trans, this bad boy has been lowered 4 inches up front and 7 inches out back with what sound like all the right parts. There are no photos of the interior, but the seller says it’s mint. Everything works, including the AC, and it is a great driver. To be fair, the paint isn’t the best so if you aren’t into the patina look then you are going to need to spend some real money to do a new paint job, but at least it is straight!
