Finnegan’s Garage Builds A Unique Welding Table: This One Is Unlike Almost Any Other We’ve Seen

Everyone knows I’m a sucker for a good welding table build but when I saw this one that Finnegan and Newbern are putting together for the shop, it made me smile. Why? Because it has a very special feature that I’d never seen in any other welding table except Eric Yost’s table at Customs by Bigun. It turns out that Finnegan had also seen Bigun’s welding table and decided he wanted to use it as inspiration for his own. Smart move, you’ll see why when you watch the video below.

Video Description:

In Episode 172 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage we pause every project build we have to fabricate a custom welding table. This video will explain the materials and techniques we used to build a DIY table that will make you a better welder or at the very least you’ll have a table that makes you look like you know what you’re doing. Whether you’re MIG or TIG welding, this table will make it easier to access those hard-to-reach areas of your project and you can build the table in just one day! We used a Miller Welders Multimatic 220 AC/DC multiprocess welder and a Miller Xtreme 375 plasma cutter to complete this project.

Couldn’t believe the cost of the metal! $700 for a piece of 3/8” x 4’ x 5’ steel plate. I would be almost afraid to cut into it at that price.
